Cult Beauty December 2016 Haul

Because apparently, I don't shop enough...

I spent a bit too much money on Cult Beauty the other day and I wanted to share my picks with you. I got the package yesterday and I haven't tried most of it yet, but at least I can share my first impressions.

Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter

Did you have any doubts about me picking this up? Of course I had to get this gorgeous golden, shimmery highlighter. I'm excited to use it - upon first swatch it's incredibly pigmented. Available here for £32.

Becca Luminous Blush in Foxglove

I haven't heard too much hype about these blushes, but I absolutely adore a luminous finish on my cheeks and this shade was calling my name. A beautiful deep pink that I'm really excited to start using. Available here  for £27.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bond Girl

I mean, no makeup junkie's collection is complete without a CT lipstick, right? I love the shade Bond Girl, it's a brown with reddish undertones that I think will work well on my skintone. The packaging is luxurious and lovely as well. Available here for £23.

Anastasia Brow Wiz in Chocolate

A repurchase after several months of trying different stuff and finally deciding nothing can compare to my dear Brow Wiz. The shade is perfect, my only qualm with this product is, I go through it really fast. Available here for £15.50.

Sunday Riley Good Genes

I had this stroke of genius and decided I absolutely MUST replace all my skincare with Sunday Riley products. Upon placing them all in my shopping bag I quickly deduced I'm not a billionaire yet, so I can't afford to revamp my whole skincare in one go... But I did pick up Good Genes and have been loving it so far. It's quite thick and I don't love the scent, but you can feel it working. Available here for an extortionate £85. Why does no one mention the stunning packaging on this? It's perfect.

I know I've been posting tons of hauls lately and I promise I'll do some reviews soon as well... I've just been shopping a lot!

Mini Apartment Tour

Here's a little peak into our apartment!

I've been meaning to share some pictures for a while, but I just never feel like this place is finished/pretty enough, so I always put it off. We're doing a few more projects in it soon, so I'll make sure to share more pictures soon.

I hope you liked seeing these pics - personally, I just adore home decor posts, they're some of the most fun to read. :) I can't wait to show you the finished product as well.

FeelUnique Fall Beauty Haul 2016

Time for a quick FeelUnique haul!

I haven't shopped on their website in ages and there were a few things I wanted to try out, along with a few Christmas gifts I needed to shop for, so here we go... I got a couple of products I've been lusting after for ages!

Murad Clarifying Cleanser

I've heard several Youtube gurus talking about this, namely MissTiffanyD who recommended it time and time again. While I don't suffer from acne anymore, my skin is still blemish prone, and I hope this will help keep impurities at bay, especially during that time of the month. You can purchase it here for 25€. I've tried it out already and it has a strong minty scent, feels very refreshing.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Overnight Renewal Cream

Lately I've been using the Caudalie Vinosource SOS Serum, which is arguably my favorite skincare item of all time, so I just had to try a few more things from them. Haven't tried this night cream out yet, but I'll apply it tonight before bed and keep you posted. Available here for 41€.

OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray

I ran out of my Charles Worthington Texturizing Spray and man, do I miss it... I had to get an alternative and I've heard great things about OUAI so I thought I'd give it a try. The only annoying thing about ordering aerosols is, you have to pay for premier shipping since there are some regulations in the EU about them (goodbye, sweet sweet 20€). Available here for 28€.

Zoella Beauty Secret Scenta Fragrance Set

Yes, I am a child for ordering this, but I don't care! Body mists last like 3 minutes on me so I got these for my bed linen, I just love spraying my bed with a yummy scent before bed. I'm a little disappointed in the gingerbread scent, it seems a little synthetic, but Sweet Inspirations is lovely. I have yet to try the others. Available here for 20€, and it would be such a cute gift for a friend for Christmas!

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

I got 10% off UD as a FeelUnique member (you can pick your favorite brand and always get 10% off it). I've wanted this spray for friggin' ages, and I can't wait to let you know if it works as well as everyone says. Travel size for now, because I want DeSlick next. Available here, 13€.

NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick

I got a few shades - Teddy, Beauty Mark, Embellishment and Honeymoon. I'm all about those brownish nudes at the moment and I'm really excited to try these. At 8€ a pop, they're one of the cheapest liquid lippies at the moment and I can't wait to wear them. Buy here.

Garnier Micellar Water

Oldie goldie, I always come back to this one in the end. My other favorites are Corine De Farme and Vichy, but I absolutely despise Bioderma, it makes my eyes sting and itch and dries them out. This was on offer for like 3€, now it's around 5 here.

I got a few presents as well that I don't want to show, because someone might be reading this post! :P Can't wait to do some reviews on these goodies.

Fall 2016 Yankee Candle Haul

You know you haven't been posting on your blog enough when you have 2 candle hauls to do...

And here is the first one! I always love doing my Yankee hauls. Living with three pets can be messy (and stinky) which is why I always like to have a candle burning. I paid my monthly visit to the Yankee Candle store and picked out a few new scents.

YC Cranberry Pear

Well, hate to be a downer, but I don't like this scent at all - my boyfriend actually picked it out. I'm not a fan of artificial fruit scents, they smell a little plastic-y to me, but he loves it, so whatever. :P This doesn't smell like pear to me (a real shame because I ADORE pear and pear blossom notes), it does smell like cranberry though. Slovenian link here, international here.

YC Tarte Tatin

OMG, I think this is limited edition, and what a shame that is, because I freaking love it. Smells like cinnamon with apple and pie crust. Honestly, I just want to eat it! It makes me feel so cozy and happy, and I would really recommend this one for that autumn feel. Purchase here for Slovenia, here for international.

YC Honey Clementine

This one is long gone because I just had to use it up as soon as I got it. Delicious, syrupy honey with fresh and zesty clementine - a dream come true! I adored it. Oh, I think this is limited edition too - but at least the good news is the autumn line was a win for me. Buy it here or here, if not in Slovenia.

YC Rhubarb Crumble

I think my boyfriend stole and burned this one, tsk tsk. Smells fresh, zesty and has a baking note as well. Very pleasant but not my favorite out of the autumn line, I preferred Tarte Tatin and Honey Clementine. Still a good scent to buy. Link here, international here.

I just adore fall collections from Yankee Candle, and now I'm even more excited about the Christmas line! Can't wait to shop it next.

Effaclar Duo(+) Unifiant Review & Rave

Have you ever wanted a skincare product that gave you an amazing coverage as well?

If you've been reading my blog for a while, I'm sure you know I'm a huge fan of La Roche Posay. When I was younger and had acne, their Effaclar Duo treatment helped me a lot, and since then I've tried most of the range, including the gel, toner and A.I. products.

A few years ago, LRP came out with Effaclar Duo(+), which was my first disappointment in the range. After loving the original Duo, Duo(+) broke me out horribly, and it took me months to get rid of the red marks - and it was the first time I broke out because of a product as my skin isn't sensitive to them usually.

So you can understand my hesitation when I was offered to try out the new Duo(+) product. This is a skincare treatment, but it is tinted and supposed to give you some coverage as well as treating your skin. In the end, I decided I had more wins than losses with LRP, and I gave it a go.

I wouldn't be writing this post if I didn't end up loving the product. I am really impressed with this - it has all the properties I loved with the original Duo and so many more new ones that I've fallen in love with. Instead of rambling on about it, I'm just going to post a pros/cons list below.

  • The shade is a little too dark for me (Light), so I wish this came in a shade lighter.

  • Gives a beautiful finish, not dewy, but not matte either (semi-matte)
  • No shine peeks through, it's not heavy, but very light and feels like nothing on the skin.
  • Smells wonderful and it is a pleasure to apply.
  • Unbelievable coverage. I have huge pores and a lot of red marks, and this covered all of them.
  • Affordable at around 14€.
  • Helps my skin while giving it the coverage it needs on a daily basis.
  • Doesn't clump or look cakey, doesn't sit in pores, has never balled up on my skin.
  • Coverage-wise, closer to foundation than a BB cream, but light nonetheless.
  • Doesn't irritate, feels pleasant and lovely on the skin.
  • Comes with 40 ml of product.

Needless to say, I've fallen in love with this product and I've already gone through half a bottle. I work from home, and on days when I'm just in the flat or running errands, I couldn't wish for a better product. Love this.

Summer 2016 Drugstore Makeup Haul

Hello ladies!

I went on a little shopping spree in my nearby Drogerie Markt, and I wanted to share my buys with you today. I've been meaning to pick up some new lipsticks, and I also needed a new powder, but of course I ended up with waaay too much stuff yet again. Let's see what we have...

EOS Lip Balm Strawberry Sorbet

I know the hype for these has kind of died down, but I just discovered them recently and I am in. Freaking. Love. My favorite is the sweet mint scent, but I wanted another one for my collection. It's super fruity and sweet, and it moisturizes well without being oily (it's more waxy). These are expensive for lipbalm, about 7€ a pop, but compared to stuff like the by Terry Baume De Rose, I'm fine with paying that. Of course, my puppy already chewed it up... Oh well.

Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipsticks

I saw a few reviews for these, and I already have a red shade, so I wanted to pick up a few more. So far I've only worn 05 Nude Flush (I also got a vampier shade, 45 Possessed Plum), and it felt my lips weirdly tingly... This didn't happen with the red shade, so I'm wondering what the problem was - almost felt like a slight allergic reaction! I love the shade though. These are about 9€ and you can purchase them here.

Catrice All Matt Powder

I adore Catrice powders. I've tried most of them, but not this one, so I had to get it for about 4€. I've tried it already and it's absolutely lovely. Very smooth, finely milled and absolutely lovely. Will repurchase for sure. I think powders are definitely something you can get from the drugstore without giving up the quality.

Catrice Blush Artist Shading Palette

Got this in the shade 020 CorAll I Need. Pretty, but nothing special. They're not really blushes as they're quite sheeny and don't have a lot of color payoff. I would sooner use them as blush overlays. About 5€ for this palette. The shades are very pretty, though.

Catrice Deluxe Glow Highlighter

I haven't tried everything from this palette yet, but it seems great. The left highlighter is lovely, and the bronzier shade is good for contouring for Snow Whites like me (seriously, where is my tan, it's summer). Same price as the blush palette, I would recommend this one over the previous product.

Catrice Pret-a-Volume Smokey Mascara Velvet Black

I mean, this is an okay mascara, just a little disappointing to me. The result seems quite natural, and I was expecting something extremely dramatic. Seeing the brush, I was sure it would smudge and crumble, but thankfully it doesn't do that. Not my favorite. About 6€.

Catrice Fluid Lipstick Intense

Got this in the shade 040 Rose Your Voice! Haven't tried it yet, but the swatch was lovely. I'm super into these rosey, nude shades lately. I'll keep you posted on this one. I think it was about 4€.

Catrice Matt Lip Artist

These crayons are just lovely. I got two shades, 030 Barberry Hopping and  010 Bare Nude's Soul. One is more nude,  the other more red. I was initially afraid these would end up on my teeth as they're very creamy, but they seem fine. Love the matte dry down and the price - 5€. I think these are limited edition, which is really a shame.

Catrice High Glow Mineral Highlighting Powder

I couldn't resist, it's so pretty! But unfortunately, this highlighter is way too shimmery for me. It's finely milled, but just not a great product. I wish the color was darker as well, as it's too light even for me, and that's saying something. It costs about 4€.

Catrice Camouflage Concealer

Been hearing great stuff about this. I want to do a comparison to Urban Decay Naked. Pretty sure I had it before and loved it! It costs around 5€. It is very velvety and smooth.

Essence The Beach House Blusher

Isn't this adorable?! I want to get back into Essence blushers, I used to purchase them with every limited collection and they're absolutely lovely (anyone remember their Marble collection from years ago? That was probably my favorite blusher of all time). This was on sale for about 2€, since it's an older collection.

Catrice Ultimate Stay Lipsticks

I absolutely adore these, and they're a bargain at around 5€. I got two shades, 070 Plum & Base and 060 Floral Coral. Beautiful shades, pleasant application and they feel great on the lips. I want every shade!

Hope you enjoyed this haul! I'm really excited about another brand arriving in Slovenia - L.O.V., and I might be picking up some bits from them as well. Until next time!

H&M Home Haul

I've been shopping like crazy...

And I feel like I'm getting old, because nothing feels as good as shopping for things for my home at the moment! :) I placed an order on H&M Home and today I wanted to share a few cute things I picked up from them. I'm so excited they started delivering their home things to Slovenia!

Let's start of with this grey blanket, which comes in a few other colors (here's hoping I can eventually convince my boyfriend to get the pink one as well). It costs 30€ and it's incredibly soft, perfect for snuggling up! I'm kind of getting tired of those super soft polyester blankets because they get ruined fast and don't look very expensive, so this is a great alternative.

I also got a whole bunch of candles: Honey Blossom - a sweeter scent, Green Tea - sharp and citrusy, and Cotton Flower - gentle and soft. I'm so glad I was able to get a few candles from H&M, I love them and they're a good bargain at only 8€.

My favorite buy is probably this beautiful round vase, which is glass and has a gold rim on top. I think it would look stunning with peonies, which I really need to buy if they're even still in season! The vase costs 20€, and there is also a smaller version available.

I got a cute napkin holder which goes nicely with the coasters I showed you in my Zara haul. It cost 8€ which is a bit stupid since it's just a bit of metal... And it also comes in rose gold.

Finally, because I am a child, I got a plate and mug with a cat motif. Of course I had to buy them, do you even know me? :P I think they're adorable, and I'm pretty sure they're meant for children, but I'll probably use them for photos and decor. They are both 6€ and there is also a bowl available.

I'll definitely order from H&M home again. I keep wishing these companies did furniture as well because I'm sure it would be adorable. But until they get on that bandwagon, I'm happy with their cute decor stuff!

Mini Summer Airport Haul

What's a girl to do when she gets to the airport 3 hours too early?

Well, shop - of course! I only ended up getting a few bits but I still wanted to show you my haul from the Nice airport. They have a tiny Duty Free and I wasn't that into the stuff there, but I still managed to pick up 4 new products.

Starting with perfume, I got a long-coveted scent - Elie Saab Le Parfum L'Eau Couture EDT. This scent is absolutely divine and so, so special. It doesn't have a lot of notes, mainly vanilla, orange blossom and green almond. I smell all of those and they make for the loveliest soft scent. It's inoffensive and perfect for hot summer days when you don't want to wear something as cloying as Bronze Goddess, for example. I love it! Available here  from 62€.

Next up, I found a well-stocked TBS section and I just had to pick up a few things. I was very curious about the English Rose range, but they didn't have testers and I decided to be a sensible human being and not blind buy. I did however, find some bits from the Honeymania range, and ended up getting the Body Butter and Shower Gel from the line. So excited about these - honey is my favorite note of all time. Body butters are around 15€, and the shower gel was 6,40€.

I also grabbed a Strawberry Body Polish from The Body Shop, which is a product I've had before and really loved. I don't remember the scent being quite so sickly sweet, but I'll still use it up. I know my boyfriend will love it, even if I don't. The body polish cost around 8€.

That's it, my teeny tiny France haul! I wanted to wander into Sephora, but the only time I was there, I was completely exhausted and couldn't handle it (shock! horror!) Next time for sure, though... I have a few more trips in my future. ;)

ZARA Home Haul

I'm back from France!

You know what the best part of coming home is? Yep, finding a bunch of new packages waiting for you. :) ZARA Home recently started delivering to Slovenia, and since I love their home stuff, I needed to order a few things for our apartment. Here's what I got.

Let's start the haul with these gorgeous gold coasters. Our living room is kind of oak-gold-white themed, with some grey as well, so these look lovely, mixed with our current bamboo coasters as well. These were in the sale and are out of stock now, but you can check out more coasters here.

I also got 4 of the cutest geometrical white mugs, because we need to clean out our mug collection - we have a bunch of them that don't match at all, which bugs me to no end. These are 7€ a pop here.

A set of tea towels also found its way into my basket. I find we're always ruining them and they need to be replaced quite fast. Again, these are out of stock, but you can check out more tea towels here.

I got this really nice set of a glass and soap dispenser in white with a black border. I think they look really chic and they look great in our bathroom. I also got a white soap dispenser for our toilet. The prices for these range around 8€, and I think they look so classy in the bathroom.

I couldn't get past this tissue box with mother of pearl design. It was a bit of a disappointment as it's basically just a mask that you put over a paper box of tissues, but it still looks very pretty. I think it will look nice in my bedroom as well. It was crazy expensive (for what it is) though, so I'd think before ordering. I can't find it on the website but it was around 35€.

Missing in action is a grey bathmat I just couldn't make look good in the picture, oops! Overall I was pleased with my order - everything's a bit overpriced but the items are lovely.

I also placed a cheeky order on H&M home, which will probably be my next post. I have a tiny The Body Shop haul from the airport as well, so that will be coming in the next few days for all my beauty lovers. Hope you're keeping cool guys - this heat is killing me!

Pastel Nail Polish For Summer 2016

Time for some bright pastels!

I adore wearing brighter nail polish in spring and summer, so I prepared a round up of my favorite shades for the coming summer months. I'd love to know what you'll be reaching for in these sweltering hot days, as well :) Let's see which ones I've been loving...

The perfect nude

China Glaze Don't Honk Your Thorn has been on my nails a lot. It's one of those nude taupe shades that looks absolutely stunning on tanned skin (not that I'm tan... In fact, my mother kindly pointed out my legs were 'scary pale' just yesterday). This shade is really beautiful though, and it makes nails look longer somehow. Easy to apply as it's quite watery for a pastel, opaque in 2-3 coats. Price is around 6€.

Bright as can be

This stunning coral shade is by China Glaze, called Petal to the Metal. A stunning bright pastel - how do they manage that? Those two terms basically don't go together, but it's exactly what this is. A peach coral shade that looks stunning in the summer. I just adore ChG's formula, so easy to apply. Also around 6€.

A wash of blue

Catrice 114 The Sky So Fly is a calm blue shade that isn't particularly vibrant, but makes an impact with any outfit. I love the relaxed cool blue which looks chic and modern. And it's a bargain at around 3€ in drugstores! Opaque in 2 coats and easy to apply. I love these watery pastels, so much better to work with and not streaky at all.

Blueberry ice-cream

This Rimmel nail polish was a totally random find which cam in a beauty subscription box. The shade is Lovely Lilac, and I love that it's more a muted grey/purple color than some brighter violets. Really pretty and easy to apply. You might notice throughout this post that I am really damn lazy with my nail polish - it better apply well or I'm over it! I think this is around 4€.

The perfect cotton candy pink

China Glaze In a Lily Bit. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am. Easy to apply, pretty and chips like a mofo, but I can overlook that fact as it's just such a pretty color, and it's actually not a pain to apply (unlike the next shade). A bargain at around 6€ and one of my top 3 nail polishes of all time!

Pale pink & pretty

Essie Romper Room is the one I have, but it was limited edition, so you could also get Fiji (but that one is pinker). I adore pastel pink nails, and this one is very very light, with only a hint of pink to it. If you want something more pink, go for the ChG color above. Essies are around 10€ unless you catch them on a 2 for 1 offer, and they're some of my favorite polishes.

Peach Pink

Ciaté in Hoopla is the perfect coral/peach/pink color. Light, pastel and so very pretty. It takes a few more coats to make this one opaque, but I just love this brand's packaging (and will admit I mostly buy them for that cute bow). It's around 9€ in drugstores. Check out their gold glitter as well!

This blue by China Glaze is one of the best polishes in my collection. A muted shade as opposed to those bright, neon & vibrant blues we usually wear, it's so chic and pretty at the same time. The shade is What a Pansy and the price is around 6€.

Summer 2016 Yankee Candle Haul

Hello, readers!

I thought I'd start my comeback with a post about my recent Yankee Candle purchases. I have to say, in the past few years I've grown a little addicted to these candles. I just have to have one burning at all times, and I usually stock up every month or so and buy 4 scents. They last about a week if I burn them daily, every evening, and I couldn't be more thrilled about them. They're definitely my favorite candle brand, though I'd love to try some Diptyque soon as well. Let's see which summery scents I got in June.

Yankee Candle Fluffy Towels

My boyfriend loves clean cotton scents, and he adores this one especially. I got it for him - since we both work from home now, it's quite relaxing to get into working mode by burning a lovely scent. This is very calming, somewhat sweet and soothing. It also has some fruity (apple, citrus) notes along with lavender. One that guys might like. I bought it here for 25€, but it's also available on the official YC website.

Yankee Candle Sicilian Lemon

I've had the Lemon Lavender candle before, and the sales associate told me it's one of their bestsellers. However, it's just not a scent I like. The combination of sharp lemon and calming lavender doesn't work for me at all, and I think the two notes clash. I thought a good substitute would be Sicilian Lemon, which is truly a perfect summer scent. Sweet, sharp and citrusy, it helps me relax and get to work! Available here for 25€. Couldn't find it on the official website - could be a limited edition scent?

Yankee Candle Peony

I saw my friend Kim get this, and I absolutely had to have it. I'm a huge fan of peonies and this scent transports me right to my grandma's garden. Her peonies bloom in the beginning of June, and she always gives me a bouquet, every single year. I adore this soft floral scent. It's quite powdery, very gentle and inoffensive. Something everyone would like. Available here for Slovenia, and here for the US. Limited edition, 25€.

Yankee Candle Summer Scoop

Now, I generally have a rule that I don't buy the same scent twice, but I've broken it a few times... One of the scents is Vanilla Lime, and the other is Summer Scoop. This is probably my favorite YC scent. It's berry ice cream topped with whipped cream and I adore it. It instantly puts me in a good mood. It's thankfully a permanent scent, and if you're gonna get one of these scents, get this one, because you won't regret it. Available here, and here for the US. 25€.

I've been burning a few of these scents already and I adore them. I hope this post inspired you to do some shopping of your own... Ooops, didn't mean to be bad to your wallet!

Spring 2016 Beauty Picks

Spring is almost over, but I still haven't shown you my beauty picks this season!

I've been loving floral scents and pastels this season and I can't wait to share some of my favorites with you today. I've been liking a really prominent highlight as well. I'm sure you'll fall in love with some of these products too! Let's begin with lipstick...

Essence Nude & Matte Lipsticks

I've been slowly collecting these over the past few months. They are seriously some of the best lipsticks on the market, and they're incredibly inexpensive as well (2,5-4€ per pop). I love the color Cool Nude especially, and I think the best ones are the nude colors. Strongly recommend these if you can get your hands on them! The nude line is really moisturizing as well, which I love.

The Balm Mary Loumanizer

Guys, I get the hype. This highlighter is STUNNING. I've been using it pretty much everyday, but beware - this is highlight. On. Fleek! Very prominent color, very intense and beautiful, but if you like a subtle highlight, it's not for you. I just adore it though! It costs around 22€ in Müller and I really recommend it if you're addicted to highlighters - it's a must have!

Bourjois City Radiance Concealer

I love this product. It's very creamy but at the same time moisturizing and almost gel-like when you apply it. Really great consistency and it gives good coverage, doesn't cake, plus, it feels really pleasant on my skin. I believe the price is around 10€ in drugstores.

Armani Si EDT

I've talked about this quite a few times now, but I still love it! A more floral, lighter version of the original Si fragrance. Soft, sweet and just perfect with impressive sillage for an EDT. I'd recommend it for spring especially. I got three in a set for 100€ from Sephora.

Oriflame Bright Bouquet Shower Cream

I've been loving this luxurious shower product from Oriflame. A brand that is too often overlooked in my opinion, as they have some awesome products! I love this floral scented shower cream which lathers up nicely and smells just like spring - perfect for this time of the year. I believe the price is around 8€.

Afrodita Bouquet of Flowers Body Milk

The perfect product to follow up with after your shower. Delicately scented with a floral perfume mixed with a milky scent, really pampering and again, perfect for spring. Soft and gentle but still very nourishing. I love it, and it's a bargain at around 3-4€ in drugstores.

Catrice Prime & Fine Beautyfying Primer

I've been absolutely loving this primer. It does it all - gives you a perfect base for foundation, and a really beautiful soft focus finish on your skin. It gives every foundation you apply afterwards a stunning finish. And it's a bargain at around 5€ in drugstores! I think I'll even repurchase this one for summer, it's that great.

China Glaze in a Lily Bit

Any pastel pink polish is perfect for this time of the year. If you can't get this CG gem, I'd recommend Essie's Fiji though I hope they changed the formulation since I last had it (very thick and streaky). This is a favorite because it applies incredibly well for a pastel color. Beautiful shade and opaque in 2-3 coats, which is surprisingly not the nightmare it usually is. I paid around 3€ on Destination Pretty.

Catrice The Sky so Fly

A stunning blue, periwinkle color. I just love pastel blues in summer. This says you need to use a base coat on the bottle (I assume a white one?), but it applies perfectly without one. Perfect blue shade and again, easy to apply. And a bargain at around 2,5€.

There you have it, some of my favorites for this season. Have you tried any of these? I'd love to hear your thoughts on your favorites.

Jimmy Choo Blossom EDP

Let's start with a long overdue where have I been...

I took a trip to Amsterdam in April, and on the second-to-last day, I fell down some stairs at the metro station. It was the stupidest accident really, but it left me with a broken right hand as well as a shattered wrist. I'm currently wearing a cast up to my shoulder (yep, writing this one-handed!) and will need to keep it on for at least two more weeks. I might also need surgery.

Personal tragedies aside, I really missed this little blog of mine, so I decided to do a shorter post today to take my mind off this stupid situation! So why not talk about perfume, one of my favorite things in the world? ;)

When the first Jimmy Choo fragrance came out, I really wanted it, only to discover it had too much patchouli for my taste. But this new edition appropriately named Blossom, seemed right up my alley.

Blossom is a sweet floral with notes of berries, rose, citrus and musk. Not a groundbreakingly different scent, but lovely nonetheless. It's sweet in a fresh and citrusy way, not cloying and decadent like some deeper sweet scents. The staying power leaves something to be desired, but the sillage is great. Overall an adorable scent perfect for spring and summer, aimed at 20-somethings and younger. Cute!

You can purchase the fragrance at All Beauty from 44€. I'd recommend it to fans of Prada Candy Eau Florale, it's like Prada's fun, flirty sister!

Avon Care Cocoa Butter Line

It rarely happens I fall in love with a whole line of products... But this one is a winner!

I've been loving quite a few Avon products recently, but this line is definitely a firm favorite. It consists of four products, all of which have really manage to impress me. I haven't been using them for too long, so this will be a shorter post, but let's see what my thoughts are...

Avon Cocoa Butter Rich Cream

Supposedly, you can use this on your face as well as your body, but I prefer it for just bodycare. It's indeed a rich cream but it has a light consistency and sinks in fast. Smells divine and feels like a lighter version of a body butter, but is just as nourishing and moisturizing! Love this stuff... You can buy it here for less than 4€!

Avon Cocoa Butter Hand Cream

I just love anything with cocoa butter and having a hand cream with that ingredient means it's extremely nourishing and great for cuticles as well. I love using this before bed as my hands are really soft when I wake up. A bit too much to put in my purse, but a love nonetheless! Available here for less than 2€.

Avon Cocoa Butter Lip Balm

I can't seem to find this on the Avon website, but this is a great lip balm in a squeezy tube. I like to use it as a prevantative lip balm (when my lips are chapped already, I prefer Blistex). It's very nourishing - and it tastes great... Not sure I should be eating is as much as I do. :P I think the price is around 4€ if you can still find it anywhere!

Avon Cocoa Butter Body Lotion

Another great product with a surprisingly light consistency, given that it contains Cocoa Butter. Pleasant, light and cooling, with a really nice scent just like the rest of the range. I really love this stuff. Available here for a little over 4€.

My only hope for this line is that they would add some more products - perhaps an in-shower lotion like Nivea has? That product is one of my favorites and I'd love to see more brands attempt to make something similar. A body scrub would also be lovely, as well as a lip scrub... Ah, I hope they bring out more product as I really am a huge fan of this line!

Blogger of the day is Laura from Buy Now, Blog Later. Some of you old school YT peeps may know Laura as lollipop26, and if you're anything like me, you were also addicted to her OG Youtube videos in the olden days (god, I'm old). Now, I absolutely ADORE Laura's blog and Instagram, and her fashion choices are a daily inspiration! Can't get enough of her content, and she's so stunning as well and seems like a total darling. I've followed her for years and don't see myself stopping any time soon!

Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush EDP

How cute is this perfume bottle? Doesn't it just scream spring?

This perfume was a real bargain, so I knew I had to pick it up. Plus, the bottle is adorable and looks so pretty on my dresser! I used to be a big fan of Vera Wang's Princess perfume, which I've unfortunately outgrown. This scent isn't as girly, but instead fresher and more appropriate for my age.

Lovestruck Floral Rush is a musky floral scent with top notes of champagne, pink pepper and apricot blossom. The middle notes include florals - marigold, passionfruit flower and freesia, and it settles with base notes of musk, cashmere wood and ambergris. To me, this is a very fresh and clean scent, unlike the usual fruity florals I usually go for. It smells quite soapy and very pretty, classy, innocent and perfect for daytime. Could be a great work perfume as well.

The best part - it's only about 36€ for 100 ml, you can purchase it here. I would totally recommend this scent, it's a great price and something everyone would like, in my opinion!

And let's not forget the blogger of the day! Today I picked Ajda from Ajda's, a blogger I've loved for years and I'm lucky to call a friend. Ajda has one of the best blogs in Slovenia, in my opinion, and I adore her new design as well. She's a total sweetheart and stunningly gorgeous, and I couldn't be more proud of all she's accomplished. Love you, boo!

Drugstore Mascara Reviews - Maybelline, L'Oreal, Max Factor & Avon

Who doesn't love finding a new amazing mascara?

I decided to do a round-up post today with some mascaras I've been using lately. I really believe you can get amazing mascaras on a budget and I don't bother paying a lot of money for them myself unless I really want to spoil myself. My favorite drugstore brands when it comes to mascara are Maybelline and Essence, and L'Oreal makes some good ones as well.

I have six new mascaras on the market which I've been reviewing for a while now, and I think I definitely have some solid opinions on them! Let's see which ones convinced me and which ones left me cold...

Avon Big & Multiplied Volume Mascara

Unfortunately, this one was not a winner for me. I have to say I'm so very disappointed because it looked really promising - I love big brushes like this one has! However, the mascara isn't black enough and really doesn't do anything... I can apply 3 or even 4 coats and my lashes will still look natural. I think the fault is in the formula, not the brush. Really a shame as I thought it would be a new favorite. You can purchase it here, currently only 6€.

L'Oreal False Lash Superstar

I just love double sided mascaras, they're so 2006 :P I was excited when I got this in the mail to try and I wasn't let down. One side of the mascara primes with white fibers, while the other adds blackness, volume and length. I love this so much, but I only use it for special nights out because it's kind of a lot of work and I'm lazy. But it gives a great effect with really full, voluminous lashes. Love it! Purchase it here for 14,5€.

Maybelline Lash Sensational

This is a favorite of mine which I've repurchased quite a few times. It has a plastic brush and it does an amazing job separating the lashes even when I'm wearing 3 or 4 coats. They never look clumpy. Gives great length and volume, can be natural or dramatic. Doesn't look fake though! I'm a big fan of Maybelline mascaras in general. The price is great as well, only 10,5€ here.

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes

This has a plastic brush, and to be honest, I have a preference for normal brushes, but the plastic ones just work so much better on me. This is a great mascara with the perfect combination of length and volume, and one I've repurchased for the third time now. Just a staple in my collection and a really good, intense black as well. Available here for 9€.

Max Factor Voluptuous False Lash Effect

Max Factor mascaras are often compared to Covergirl. I've never tried CG, but I love MF mascaras! I remember when they first came out with False Lash, I walked around with eyelashes so crazy long people would stop me on the street to ask which falsies I was wearing (SERIOUSLY, it happened once!) I was so excited to try this new offering from them and I'm happy to say it doesn't disappoint. It has a special plastic brush, and while I'm not a fan of the tip of it (too much product build-up), I love the rest! Great for length and volume and heavily recommended from me. 14€ in European drugstores.

Whew, this was quite a long post. But we still have to talk about my blogger of the day, and I've chosen Saša from What Sasha Wears today. I just shot an outfit post with her, and I'm always in awe of her style, she just has the best clothes and knows exactly how to pair them up! Plus, she's such a sweet girl... She won't be mad when I rob her wardrobe, right? *wink*

Weleda Almond Sensitive Hand Cream

I'm super busy today so I just have a quick post on this lovely hand cream!

I've been a fan of Weleda products for quite a while now. If you've been reading my blog for a long time, you will remember me raving about their Skin Food, which I still love, and have even got half the family hooked on it!

I was excited to try this new Weleda hand cream, which you can purchase here for 7€. First of all, I adore the pretty packaging! And the scent is lovely as well, but the winner is definitely the hand cream itself. It contains sweet almond essential oil and is lightly scented.

My main problem with hand creams is when they're extremely greasy. As I work on my computer, it's difficult to apply greasy hand creams because they always leave a mark. But this one absorbs to very fast - probably the fastest out of all the hand creams I've tried! Still, it feels nourishing and helps my skin retain moisture.

This hand cream would be just great as a gift as well. And I think it really is appropriate for sensitive/dry or itchy skin, as it doesn't irritate and sinks in fast. Definitely worth a try.

Today's blogger of the day is Beatrice from Strawberry Makeup Bag. She hasn't posted in a while but I just adore her photos and her Instagram! Definitely check her out, she has some lovely reviews up. And tell her to post more!

The Blush Lover Tag

Let's pretend I was actually tagged to do this!

I recently saw a post on this tag and I really wanted to do it, so I'm taking the liberty of tagging myself. :P I'd love to know what you think of tag posts, do you like them or wish they'd just disappear? I'm sometimes in the mood to do one, and I don't want to annoy you with my posts! Let's get right to the questions...

What colour blush suits you the most?

I would say natural, light pinks with a small amount of shimmer. MAC Well Dressed would be the perfect example. Sometimes, corals look okay as well but I'm really not a fan of them, I'm all about those pink blushers!

Pressed, cream or loose blush?

For sure pressed. I can't stand loose blushes (though I did love one I had from Lily Lolo). Cream is okay, but since my skin is oily I just prefer pressed blushers, and they're the easiest to apply as well.

Favorite shimmery blush?

Oh god, this will be so hard. I really adore the Max Factor baked mineral blushes, the purple and pink shades are both lovely. I also really like Physician's Formula Sexy Booster. I think that one takes the cake because it's chocolate scented and I just love using it.

Favorite matte blush?

I really have to dig through my collection for this one. I don't think I have a lot (if any) matte blushers, I just love shimmery ones so much! I guess Kiko Rebel Bouncy blush in 04 Passion Red Wine. It's quite pigmented, and a cream blush. I don't use it too often, but when I do, I love it!

Favorite cream blush?

I'm really not a fan of cream blushes but there is one I adore. It's from & Other Stories, it's called Haystack Peony Cheek & Lip Tint. I found it randomly in London and only paid 3 pounds for it. It's heavily pigmented, and while I don't like it for my lips, it really is a great blush shade!

Favorite drugstore blush?

I absolutely love Essence blushes. I'm not going to give names because I specifically adore the ones that come in limited editions! Recently I loved the Urbaniced one, and I had one from a Marbled collection ages ago. They're only about 4€ and always bring it on the quality. Totally recommend!

Favorite high-end blush?

Once again, this is really hard! I think the winner would be MAC blushers (I adore Dame and Well Dressed) along with Illamasqua. I've gone through two products of both brands. I love Morale and Katie by Illamasqua. Both brands have finely milled pressed blushes, which are my favorite, and they blend beautifully and last ages. I want to try MAC's mineralized blushes next.

Favorite bright blush?

I've actually run out of mine ages ago, but it is a firm favorite. It's by Sleek and it's called Pixie Pink. I think I even did a post on it ages ago when I started blogging! It's a gorgeous, hot HOT pink shade with minimal shimmer. So pretty, and such a bargain. It looks beautiful when applied and really gives a nice color. You can pack it on or go easy with the application. I really need to repurchase it.

Biggest blush disappointment/regret?

Oh, I'd have to say Milani Luminoso. I did a whole post on it here, and I just can't stand it. The shade is way too orange and makes me look sick, it has bad pigmentation and the shimmer is scratchy! Not for me, sorry.

Best blush packaging?

I really love the new H&M blushes, which would totally win IF they had a mirror on the lid! So my winner is Kiko with their Soft Touch blushes (not perfect as they get dirty fast, but I do like it). Closes and opens well, quality feels good and there's a mirror.

What's on your blush wishlist?

You mean that list that I keep adding something to every day? I guess my top 3 would be Hourglass blushers, the new Kiko collection and MAC Mineralize blushes!

Number 1 Holy Grail blush?

Drumroll please... It's Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in 05 Lovely Pink. Maybe an unusual choice, but this blush is: buildable, pretty, shimmery, easy to apply, hard to eff up, inexpensive and a great shade. I just love it, you can pack it on or go easy, and it looks lovely and natural. The shade 20 Lavish Mauve is stunning as well!

This was so much fun! I'm going to tag one girl who is also my blogger of the day. Tina from Tina's Blog. She's a great friend and I've always, always loved her content. She has a stunning Instagram and I adore her haul posts and nail polish swatches. She's so very pretty and such a sweet girl, a really good friend and an awesome, dedicated blogger. You will love her!

Tina, you have to do this tag now! :P And of course, anyone else who wants to as well. It really is so much fun!

Afrodita Bouquet of Flowers Body Milk & Shower Gel

What better way to jump into spring than a floral scent?

I've had this set in my possession for a while now, and with spring surely on the way, I've been using them more and more. I just adore floral scented products for this time of the year, when it's warm but there's a pleasant cool breeze.

The cream shower gel is undeniably girly, so my boyfriend has already let me know he won't be using it (more for me, hehe). It really is creamy and keeps my skin well-moisturized, as well as retaining the scent of the product, which is a huge plus for me. I also love using it with floral perfumes as it enhances the scent and helps it stay on longer.

The nourishing body milk is extremely light but very nourishing at the same time. Leaves my skin extremely smooth and doesn't irritate it, even after shaving. A great companion to fragrance just like the shower gel. I've been using these two in conjunction with my DKNY Pure A Drop Of Rose perfume and it makes it last way longer, which I love.

So, florals, for spring? Groundbreaking! (name that quote) I don't care, I love them either way and I'll be wearing them for years to come. You can purchase this lovely Afrodita set here for under 5€ which really is a great deal.

And my favorite blogger of the day is Sophie's Makeup, which I've talked about often - I just adore this girl's photography so much, I could stare at it for days. Her posts are well-thought out, creative and beautiful. I wish I had her blogging mojo!

Avon Planet Spa Bath Elixir

Who doesn't love a good bath?

Or maybe a better question, who loves a good bath but doesn't have a bath tub at home? Unfortunately, I'm one of the latter, and I have to wait for when I visit the in-laws to take a nice, long soak. These two products from Avon had me extremely excited to finally try out some new bath things, and they did not disappoint.

I re cived two bath soaks from Avon, one with the scent Sweet Sensuality and the other is called Indulgent Spa Ritual. Spa Sensuality has the intoxicating scent of jasmine, as it includes essential oil with the scent, while Indulgent Spa Ritual is a rich chocolate scent I've fallen completely in love with.

Both products are just lovely for when you want to pamper yourself, and both can be used in the shower as well, which was just great news for me! I love them both - Sweet Sensuality for relaxing and before bed, and the chocolate scent for true pampering and decadence. I'd recommend both of these. They cost around 10€, a bit pricy, but worth it! I'm also intrigued by their new scent in the line, Caribbean Escape.

And now for my favorite blogger of the day! I'm absolutely loving this girl's content and I know you will, too... It's Kiara from Lion in the Wild. She has both beauty and fashion posts and does Youtube as well, and I'm completely stunned by her photography skills, beauty and kindness. Such a lovely girl!

I might do a few more pampering posts if anyone would be interested. I think it's so important to spoil ourselves every once in a while.

March 2016 Favorites

I haven't done a favorites post in ages... And I have some exciting news!

I'm going to be talking about some really awesome products today, but first I wanted to share some good news. I've decided to post every day in April (hopefully it'll go better than Blogmas *cringe*), and I'll also be sharing some of my favorite bloggers in every single post. :) If you'd like to nominate your blog, make sure to leave a link below this post! Now on to the favorites...

I've been reaching for some new items as well as some tried and true favorites. I have everything from hair stuff to skincare and makeup, so I'm sure you'll find something you might want to try. Let's see!

Catrice Prime & Frine Primer

I just recently received this primer for review and I'm already in love! Catrice really is one of the best drugstore brands you can get here in Slovenia. This primer doesn't feel silicone-y, it's smooth and pleasant and gives a lovely soft focus finish to the skin. I love using it under my foundation. On the thicker side of primers, but doesn't make me get oily throughout the day! I think it costs from 4-6€.

Sephora Mineral Powder

I bought this on a whim in Paris, but I really adore it. A finely milled mineral powder that gives a lovely, natural finish to the skin. You can even use it by itself, it gives a lot of coverage. I believe I paid around 14€ for it.

Garnier Micellar Solution

An old favorite. Such a bargain, because you can get 400 ml for just 5€. I love it, it doesn't irritate my eyes and doesn't have a scent. Really pleasant to use and takes all my makeup off. I've repurchased it three times already. A firm favorite, and way better than Bioderma in my honest opinion!

Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray

I've almost run out of this amazing product, and when I actually do, I will cry for days. Gives amazing volume and beautiful texture to hair, but spray it from a distance (at first I sprayed it from close up and it doesn't work well that way, it just glues my hair together). I think it costs around 6 pounds in Boots, and if you (unlike me) can get your hands on it easily, don't hesitate!

the Balm Nude 'Tude

Recently bought this palette on Destination Pretty and I just adore it. It has three of the prettiest eyeshadows for a natural, neutral, barely-there look. I've been using it every day. You can find it here for 40€. Shadows are well pigmented, small amount of fallout, great shades. The brush it comes with is useless, though. :P

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum

I don't know what's happening to me, but I'm apparently getting paler and paler. This foundation, which used to be way too light for me, is now too dark! But I still adore it - it's so pleasant on the skin, feels like a moisturizer, gives a nice natural-yet-porcelain-like finish, and doesn't cause me to break out. Available here for 14,5€.

Fake RT brushes

Yep, totally fake. Get them on Ebay for $8. I need another set for pictures, haha! I love the blush brush the most, along with the strange triangular gold brush, which I find is PERFECT for highlighting! Seriously, these are amazing quality for that price (I'd pay more). You need them!

Essence The Velvets Eyeshadow

As you know, I don't really wear eyeshadow, but this one really is good! I love the texture, and I'm planning on buying more shades. But it isn't a favorite just because of that - I just adore this peachy pink shade, it looks surprisingly good on my eyes. I think it's only about 2-3€.

Essence Lip Gloss

I honestly don't know the name/shade of this, because the sticker rubbed off, but they're available for about 2-3€ now. I don't like lip gloss, and this is really sticky, but... it just works! Such a pretty nude pink shade, makes my lips glossy and plump. I've been wearing it a lot even though I don't love the formula, so it deserved a place in my favorites.

China Glaze What A Pansy

For me, this is the shade of the season! A gorgeous cornflower blue that I've been wearing like crazy. Gorgeous shade, opaque with one coat, the finish is really shiny and it doesn't chip that easily. I'm in love... I paid around 4€, but it depends where you get it from!

Essence Superfine Waterproof Eyeliner Pen

Essence liquid liners will forever be my favorites! They're incredibly inexpensive (3-4€), great color payoff, very black, don't budge and barely fade (though the waterproof weirdly fades more than the regular version). The tip is great as well and really precise. Always a winner in my book!

ASTOR Soft Sensation Lipcolor Butter Matte 027 Elegant Nude

OMG. This is probably my favorite lip product of all time! So pleasant to wear yet completely matte, a stunning brown/pink nude shade, no shimmer, inexpensive... I will be buying more from this line. It's a crayon and super easy to apply, and you need it. No excuses. I really can't remember the price, I think it was about 10€!

Whew, you can tell it's been a while since I did my favorites, I had a LOT to talk about! But let's not forget my favorite blogger for the day - today that is Monika from Sugarlove Blog. I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely girl and chatting to her at an event, and I remembered her blog being absolutely stunning. After coming home, I probably spent an hour browsing her posts and being head over heels in love over her photos. But not only is her blog stunning, Monika is one of the nicest people I've met in the blogging world. Such a genuine sweetheart, and a real blogging talent! Love her :)

I hope this post was helpful and I'll see you tomorrow with a new post lovelies! <3

Anastasia Brow Wiz - Worth The Hype?

Anastasia brow products have been all the rage for a while now, but are they really worth the hype?

I decided to start my testing with Brow Wiz, a brow pencil that's so hyped on the internet I was really expecting miracles. It felt a bit weird paying 19€ on Beauty Bay, I think it's quite expensive for an eyebrow product. I'm more of a drugstore girl and I just dislike overpaying for products.

But I have to say, as soon as my initial outrage was over, I feel in love with this product. I got Brow Wiz in the shade Chocolate and it worked really well for my older hair color (I've since gone blonder). It's a perfect rich dark brown, it's not waxy but not powdery, applies simply beautifully and creates natural, defined & stunning brows.

Personally, I need all the help I can get in the brow area as my natural brows are very light and undefined, and this product was just perfect. Great for filling in or adding single hairs with small strokes. The only downside is, you really go through it very quickly. I think I had it for about a month, but I didn't use it daily... I probably lasts 3-4 weeks with daily use, which really is a shame. But in my opinion, it's still worth the price tag, and I'll be buying it again. I also want to try Brow Pomade next!

For me, Brow Wiz is all that and more and I'd strongly recommend it. My all-time favorite brow product, I just wish it lasted longer!

Spring 2016 Perfume Haul

Once the seasons change, I always have a bit of a fragrance splurge...

This time, I shopped on Allbeauty.com and picked up some great new scents. One of them is for mother's day, the rest are just for me. Let's see what I got.

Elizabeth Arden Pretty EDP

I wanted something less sweet and this lovely white floral has just enough sweet notes to keep my interest. It has peony, jasmine and lily and a warm base of wood, amber and musk. It opens with fresh citruses, and it just such a pretty fragrance for spring. I've worn it a lot, and I love the packaging as well. You can purchase it here for only 20€!

DKNY Pure Drop of Rose

I originally wanted to get Stella McCartney's signature scent, but this one is a great dupe and way less expensive. A beautiful, fresh and gentle rose with some verbena, magnolia, woods and a tiny bit of vanilla. I also love the original scent Pure. Available here for 33€.

Prada Candy L'Eau Florale

The original Candy scent is lovely, but too sweet for my taste. I got this one as a mother's day gift for my momma, and I'm happy to say she loves it just as much as the original scent! In my opinion, it works even better in the warmer months. Peony, limoncello, musk and honey... Dreamy! I want it as well. Available here from 48€.

Cartier Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose

Oh my god, my dream rose scent. STUNNING, and a blind buy I'm so glad worked for me. Even better than Stella. Rose, amber and vanilla - what more could you ask for? Available here for 43€.

Jimmy Choo Blossom

Sweet, fruity and sour. Generic, but lovely to wear in the warmer months. I love the red berries in this one. It also has citruses, rose, sweet pea and woody notes - sensing a pattern with the rose here? Available here from 34€.

Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush

I mainly got this because it was inexpensive and I'm a sucker for packaging. Floral, musky and softly spicy. Kind of generic, smells quite soapy, but I like it for lazy days. Not an attention seeking perfume, that's for sure! Available here for 36€.

My perfume collection just keeps on growing... I'll have to do a post on it soon. But perfume really is an addiction of mine, I have no problem admitting that!

Drogerie Markt Visiomax Contacts & Eye Products

A bit of a different post today...

Ever since I head that Drogerie Markt was coming out with contact lenses, I was super excited. When I finally saw them in store, I had to get a few products. I know this isn't my usual post, but maybe it will be useful to some of you who have been wondering about Visiomax - is it worth the hype? Let's see...

Visiomax Lens Case

There's really not much to say about this one! It's a standard lens case, but I do love the option of purchasing these separately as the ones that come with a lens solution tend to get grubby over time. I think they were around 2-3€, so not too bad.

Visiomax Eye Drops

I really like Bepanthol eye drops, but unfortunately, they're only good for six months after you open them. I don't use them too often, so I really love this brand's offering which lasts up to 2018. The drops are great, but then again, I'm not very demanding. They just have to moisten my eyes and I'm good. Not irritating, pleasant & they contain hyaluron. A winner in my book, and a good price, I think about 4-5€.

Visiomax Contact Lenses

This is what you all want to know about, right? Well... I have mixed opinions on these contacts. My eyes are semi-sensitive, more normal than anything else. So for wearing during the day, the lenses are ok - as long as you take them out and wear glasses maybe 2 days out of the 7 of the week. I made the mistake of sleeping with them (I really wanted to try them out, because I'm totally ok if I fall asleep with my regular Acuvue contacts), and it made my eyes SUPER irritated, red and uncomfortable. They're kind of... itchy isn't the right word, just uncomfortable. It feels like they're really dry and have edges that cut into my eye, which isn't exactly pleasant. But the main reason I wanted them is the price - they're like 3€, which I thought was great... Until I found out you get only one lens per pack. They're monthly, so that adds up to 6€ per month. My Acuvue contacts come in a pack of 6 for 18€, I need 2 packs for a month ( though I've worn them for way longer), so the price is the same per month. I just so prefer my old contacts. I won't be repurchasing these, but it is nice to know I can get them in the drugstore if I ever run out. But not a great purchase for me.

Overall thoughts

So, there's definitely some split opinions on these. I've heard some mixed reviews on them and I have to agree - while they're not completely love it or hate it for me (there's good and bad sides), I won't be repurchasing. I'm sticking with my Oasis Acuvue lenses for now.

Again, my apologies for a slightly off topic post, but I do hope it was helpful. And I'd be really curious to know how many of my readers wear contacts! So tell me...
