Hands up if you love planning!

Personally, I never got into the planning trend in school. All of my classmates had planners, but I couldn't get into it - instead, I would have loads of notebooks to write in. But a few years ago, I got into writing to-do lists and they really increased my productivity.

Choosing a planner

This year, planning seems to have exploded on Youtube and Instagram as well as blogs. I'm not ashamed of saying I got sucked into the hype, because it's a fun obsession to have! :) I ended up researching planners for months. Of course, my first obsession was Erin Condren, but in the end I just didn't fall in love with it. It's too colorful and messy for me, and I just don't love it. I looked at tons of others like Kikki K (overpriced if you ask me), Inkwell Press (currently out of stock) and Happy Planner... I finally found this obscure planner called Heidi Swapp Memory Planner.

How to get Heidi Swapp in Europe?

This is a US planner which can be found in Michaels for about $25. Okay, that's fine and dandy, but how do you get one in Europe? I searched high and low, looked at numerous websites, Etsy, Ebay and Amazon... Here's the thing: you won't get this for a good price in Europe. I settled on a German site called Stempelmeer and still overpaid (I'm embarrassed to admit it was over 35€ + shipping). But I had some money in my Paypal account and this was the perfect way to spend it... RIGHT?

The shipping was insanely fast, I ordered on Thursday and it arrived today (Tuesday). The planner is freaking gorgeous, even prettier than I imagined. Beautiful inserts, nice and not-too-thick-not-too-thin paper, beautiful exterior... I'm totally in love. Now to stop myself from buying all the stickers in the world... Speaking of those, I really like the site Hey Little Magpie, and might place an order soon!

Here we go - my first planner. I'm excited to fill it with pretty things & notes. Let me know if you'd like to see some planning posts! I'm even considering a video... *gasp*!
Do you use personal planners? Which ones?
