Blogmas Day 19: Neutral Christmas NOTD

Who's the Grinch that failed at Blogmas? Yep, me.

So I've been awfully quiet the last few days, but you've no idea how busy I've been. Hopefully I'll make it up with today's post which is a manicure of the day. I wanted to show you the mani I'll be wearing this Christmas and maybe even NY (depends which dress I'll be wearing), and I have some cool other stuff as well :)

I love accent glitter nails, and I used my favorite glittery polish, Orly's Rage. This is a gorgeous Rose Gold, and what's even better, it's super easy to remove and apply, and very opaque. One of my favorites for sure. I used that on my ring finger.

For the rest of my nails, I went with Essie's Merino Cool, which I got in My Beauty Box, a Slovenian subscription service. This is a gorgeous cool toned mauve-purple-grey color which is my absolute favorite this winter season. So pretty!

And I also wanted to mention two more things. First is the gorgeous cup in the first photo which I got from Smile Concept Store. You may have seen I got Tilen a matching cup which says MR, and this one is just for me! I am IN LOVE with these mugs, they're just adorable, perfect for my cuppa and great for photos as well. Available on their website as well as their lovely store in Ljubljana - if you have time, please visit, it's just great.

And the second is the super cute snowflake ring which I got from the lovely Karina. She's such a sweet girl and I'd love it if you checked out her blog. So pretty!

Hope you enjoyed this NOTD!

Blogmas Day 15: Britney Spears Intimate Fantasy

Who hasn't been waiting for this review?!

The newest fragrance from Ms. Spears has us all excited, and I'm really happy to be talking about it today. I ordered it from All Beauty and I've been trying it out for a while now, so my review should be pretty thorough!

Intimate Fantasy is quite similar to the original Fantasy fragrance by Britney, but less intense and less sweet. It's muskier and more ozonic.

The fragrance opens with lemon, violet leaf and litchi, one of my favorite notes in perfume. Next up, we have brown sugar, lily of the valley, genet and jasmine. I'm kind of on the fence on the genet note and I really wish perfumers would finally stop using it. Finally, the perfume settles into benzoin, white musk, heliotrope and vanilla.

These notes might sound quite strange and unique, but honestly I think the perfume is very likeable. If the original Fantasy was too strong or sweet for you, you might just love this one. Average sillage and longevity, and a great drydown. You can purchase it here for around 35€.

Blogmas Day 14: Budget Gift Guide For Her - Christmas 2015

Stuck on ideas of what to get your bestie or girlfriend?

I have some ideas for you today which include budget gifts that look really luxurious. I hope you enjoy my suggestions - I know any girl would love something like this!

A pretty book

As a big reader myself, I adore pretty copies of my favorite books. One of my faves is this edition of The Secret Garden, which has silver pages and gorgeous purple leather binding. I got this on the Book Depository, but check your local bookstores for deals like this one (it was only around 15€).

A high end lipstick on a budget

I found my gorgeous YSL Rouge Couture Matte lipstick in the discount section of my local department store. If you're US based, try heading to CCO's, or, for the UK, hit up your TJ Maxx. I only paid 17€ for my lipstick when the regular price is around 30, and it's gorgeous.

Pretty polishes

I adore Ciaté nail polish, and while they're 10€ a pop, they look even more expensive. I think it would be adorable to get your friend a neutral color and some glitter together, and it's under 20€. A cute stocking stuffer as well.

H&M's beauty line

H&M recently redid their whole beauty line and their adorable packaging would be perfect for some Christmas gifts. I adore their makeup, but another amazing idea is their body care. I love their Cashmere Haze scent, it's really neautral but pleasant and would make anyone happy. Price for the body scrub is around 6€.

A pretty candle

I've bought a lot of candles over the years, and I can vouch for a lot of them, including Primark. Their candles are heavily scented, have great variety and are unique, plus, they come in really hefty, pretty packaging. They don't look cheap at all and would make a really pretty gift for the girls in your life. I think mine was around 3€ - so worth it!

Gift sets

Whether it's Sephora, Lush or your local beauty drugstore, you're bound to find an amazing gift this Christmas. I would also recommend checking online to find some nice stuff for the person you want to give it to - check out some online perfumeries, and don't forget about checking for coupon codes! I love this Too Faced Melted Lipstick set I got in Sephora for around 22€.

Luxurious packaging

Prime example - Afrodita's range of sugar products, especially this Spa Sugar Scrub. I just adore it, it feels luxurious and the packaging looks expensive as well. Such a nice pampering gift for Christmas!

A great perfume

Perfume is such a staple gift and one I just love receiving. I would recommend checking out online perfume stores like Salma and All Beauty to find the perfect scent for your friend/GF at a fraction of the price. I got my Juicy Couture perfume here for only 26€ for 100 ml.

I hope this helped a little bit! I still have to buy some presents myself, and I hope I can find some amazing things for my friends and family.
Have you bought all your Christmas gifts yet?

Blogmas Day 13: Lush Grease Lightning & Tea Tree Water Review

I've been loving Lush lately!

Lush is such a lovely natural brand, and I've been going to their store in Ljubljana quite a bit. Today, I have a review of two skincare products perfect for combination and blemish prone skin. Here we go.

Lush Tea Tree Water

This is a toner water I've really been enjoying lately. It has quite a sharp scent of tea tree and rosemary, I think, and it's really pleasant to use throughout the day. I love using toners all day long, not just in the morning and evening (if I'm not wearing makeup of course). It has astringent properties which are awesome for blemishes. Plus, it doesn't have alcohol so it won't sting - just don't get it in your eyes. I got 100 ml for around 8€.

Lush Grease Lightning

This is my favorite product by Lush and I've raved about it countless times. You know I suffer with acne and I've tried out loads of blemish products on the market, but this one is my favorite. It's, contradictory to the name, not greasy at all, but really fresh and sinks into the skin very fast. It has tea tree, lavender and aloe vera and feels so nice on my skin even when it's irritated. I would honestly recommend this over any acne treatment (Effaclar Duo+, Vichy Normaderm, this beats them all). It costs around 10€ for 50 ml.

Hope you enjoyed these two quick reviews, both products get my seal of approval!

Blogmas Day 13: Nina Ricci Les Delices de Nina EDT Review

This is the cutest bottle ever, right?

Here's a perfume I recently added to my collection.  I found it on offer and just had to have it! They have a different limited edition of this fragrance every year, and this is the 2015 edition.

Les Delices De Nina

This perfume is just adorable, from the bottle to the scent itself! It's very sweet and fruity. The top notes open with citruses - mandarin and orange, followed by jasmine, apple, caramel and strawberry. The base notes include praline, vanilla, musk and raspberry.

The scent isn't too strong, but very pleasant and sweet. It's perfect for every day wear, especially in the wintertime! You can purchase this perfume here for 50,20€.

Blogmas Day 11: Too Faced Melted Lipstick Collection

Two months ago, I didn't own a single Too Faced lipstick... Now I have five!

Okay, a big reason for that is buying a holiday gift set of these melted lipsticks, but I still managed to get quite an impressive amount! I wanted to do a quick review of these liquid lippies today and tell you what I think.

Let's start with the brand.

Too Faced has held my interest for ages, and I'm really in love with their cutesy packaging. When I finally found them in Paris, in Sephora, I knew I'd be getting quite a few products as the brand seems just lovely. Looking back, I'm mad at myself for not picking up more! I'll have to get more stuff from them next time.

How about the packaging?

The lipsticks come in adorable packaging, the color gives away the actual lipstick. While the tube packaging is the cutest, I'm just not a fan of it. It unscrews (the cap) and you have a sponge-y thing which you squeeze, and product comes out. I just don't like that kind of applicator, it gets soo messy with time. I'd prefer a glass tube really, with a doe-foot applicator. Oh well.

And the colors?

I absolutely love the colors I have. From L-R on the swatches above, they are Melted Metallic Peony, Melted Chihuahua, Melted Metallic Macaroon, Melted Fig and Melted Berry. I have to say, the colors are on point, they are really unique and pretty! I even like the Metallic ones which I would skip if they weren't in the gift set I got. My favorite is probably Melted Fig, it's so unique and just a gorgeous plum color (deeper but similar to MAC Plumful).

The full size is about 20€, so quite steep, but the minis were in a set for about 22€ for four, so I think that was a great deal. If you can still find the gift set, jump on the chance and get it, these are lovely.

Final verdict?

Worth the money despite the packaging not being my favorite. I adore them, and can't wait to add more to my collection! They're beautiful.

Blogmas Day 10: 4 Winter Fragrances To Try

Have you had enough of my perfumes yet?

I haven't! And I wanted to post four perfumes which I think would be just beautiful in the wintertime. Some of these are new to my collection and I've had the others for a while, but still adore them. Let's see what I would recommend.

L'Erbolario Papavero Soave

I wore this perfume constantly last year and I just adore it. It's a very heavy scent with poppy, jasmine, amber and vanilla. It's very sweet, but not sickly like Fantasy, for example. Instead, it's a different sweet, more sophisticated and fancy if you ask me. :) I love this scent, it's such a budget buy and it really lasts ages. Available in pharmacies for around 20€. Read my full review here.

Estee Lauder Modern Muse Chic

I've yet to do a full review of this perfume, but I just adore it! It's very different, a sexy soft musk with jasmine, tuberose and lily. It's sexy to my nose, but to someone else it might be really innocent and sweet. Anyway, I just adore it for day and nighttime and somehow it blends in beautifully in this weather, especially on scarves. Available on Fragrance Direct from 64€.

Giorgi Armani Si EDT

I know the EDP version of this perfume is very popular, but I'm absolutely in love with the EDT version. It's still very sweet but much more floral (think Prada Candy VS Prada Candy Eau Florale). I adore the notes of pear and freesia in it. Perhaps an unusual choice for winter, but it's very subtle but still noticeable and it's my signature scent at the moment. Available here from 50€.

Paco Rabanne Olympea

This had been on my wishlist for a while and now it's finally mine! A vanilla, salty white floral which I'm totally in love with, even though I tried not to be... It's really not a groundbreaking scent, but it's just so lovely I can't resist it! It's also quite longlasting. Available here from 56€.

These winter scents would make a lovely addition to any perfume wardrobe, and I just love them! Hope you do as well.

Blogmas Day 9: Best winter scented beauty products

Here are some of my favorite winter scents!

I love scented products, and my favorites in this time of the year are heavy gourmand and vanilla scents. I have some of the best products with amazing scents right here. Let's see what they are.

TIGI Oatmeal & Honey range

I recently repurchased this amazing range after two years or so. This is an amazing line for dry and damaged hair, but the thing I love the most is the scent - pure Christmas with oatmeal, cinnamon, honey... Just lovely! Totally recommend the shampoo and conditioner as well as the mask. Prices go from 10€ up.

Afrodita Mystic Argan Shower Gel

This is a random product which I got as a gift from lovely Nina. I really love the scent though, it's so deep and reminds me of Moroccanoil, probably because both products have argan. Just lovely, and a steal at around 2€.

Lush Lord of Misrule & Rose Jam Shower Gel

Lush shower gels are on my hit list at the moment, and I want many more. These two are limited edition, one from the Halloween collection and one from the Christmas collection. Rose Jam is a sugary rose, while Lord is a patchouli pepper scent. Prices are from 9€ up.

Avon Planet Spa Indulgent Spa Ritual Mask & Bath

I just received these two in the mail (thank you, Avon!) and they smell. Freaking. Divine. I'm absolutely in love with the rich scent of chocolate which reminds me of Body Shop's Chocomania range. The mask is amazing as well as I've already tried it, and I'm super excited about the bath! Prices are around 10€.

There we go, the best scented winter products. I just adore these!

Blogmas Day 8: Tom Ford Velvet Orchid EDP

I have a really unique fragrance for you today!

I like to think I love variety in my fragrances, but looking at my collection, there's definitely a theme going on. I seem to have fallen for gourmands and fruity florals just like everyone else... So I thought it was high time I added something unique to my collection.

I've loved Tom Ford for ages, but the only scent I was familiar with was Black Orchid. I thought that was too strong for me, so I went with Velvet Orchid instead.

This is a very strong perfume, with amazing sillage (sillage monster if I've ever tried one). It's a more toned down Black Orchid. Sweet, velvety and powdery, balsamic and vanillary. I adore it. It has top notes of citrus, rhum and honey (we all know I love honey), middle notes of flowers - love the orange blossom, and base notes with myrrh, vanilla and sandalwood among others.

If the right woman wears it, it's sexy beyond belief! On another, it might be really subtle. I adore this scent, it's totally unique and works in a not-in-your-face sexy way. Would recommend and it would make an amazing gift... perhaps along a Tom Ford lippie? Ohhh <3 You can buy Velvet Orchid here from 91€.

I hope you enjoyed this review. I think this is one of the most original perfumes in my collection.

Blogmas Day 7: Prettiest packaging of 2015

I thought I'd start off my favorite products of 2015 with the prettiest packaging!

A bit of a random post, but I thought this would be fun nonetheless. I found some really cute products this year and even though I didn't like some of them, they had lovely packaging. Let's see which brands and products made it to my winning list...

Nail polish

Ciaté definitely takes the cake here! Oh my gosh, their little rectangular bottles with a black bow are adorable, minimalistic and simple but also really, really pretty. A+ from me.

I really like Milani lipstick, they're so cheap but look really expensive at the same time. H&M lipstick are also adorable with their white and gold packaging, as are Too Faced Melted Lipstick (even though the packaging isn't very useful). I love Etude House as well, these Asian brands are just adorable! And also, Kiko's Rebel Romantic line had one of the prettiest lipstick cases ever.

I really adore the Physician's Formula packaging, and I love the scent of this product, it's absolutely delicious. I also like the H&M blushers, they're absolutely lovely, but I wish they had a mirror inside.

I love packaging with a pump, like the above Sephora foundation. It's not very practical, but it is pretty! And I love the concealer by Physician's Formula with the precious little bow. So pretty.,

A bit of a weird post which I only realized as I was writing it, but these products are just a joy to use! I'm sure you would like them as well.
What product has the cutest packaging to you?

Blogmas Day 6: Oriflame Volare EDP

This is one of the prettiest perfume bottles in my collection!

I know I've been doing tons of perfume reviews, but we all know I'm a junkie when it comes to fragrance. And a new bottle of perfume won't hurt you... right? At the very least, you should put one on your Christmas list! Perfume is one of my favorite things to receive.

Today I'm reviewing Oriflame's Volare, a new fragrance in my collection. I fell in love with the bottle right away, it's a pretty rose with gold hardware. I expected the fragrance to be really generic, but it's most definitely not!

Volare is in a sense almost old fashioned, as it has incredible sillage and longevity. I really didn't expect it to be like this and was pleasantly surprised to find how long it lasted on my skin.

As far as notes go, the perfume opens with pear, galbanum and violet leaf. I believe the latter is what makes me think old fashioned, as it's a note that used to be used a lot in fragrance but has now been run over by popular floral-fruity scents. Next, we have peony, gardenia and rose petals. The rose is very obvious to my nose, it's quite heavy and powdery. Not a modern rose scent, but very reminiscent of baby powder. And finally, we have cedar, leather and a sweet hint of pralines. I smell the cedar mostly.

This scent is not something I'd pick up myself. I think there's a bit of a disconnect between the bottle and the scent, but I would really recommend it as a gift to a mom, aunt or grandma. The price is only 16€ on the Oriflame website.

Blogmas Day 5: H&M Beauty VS & Other Stories Beauty

Did you know H&M has a sister brand called & Other Stories?

On my recent trip to Paris, I knew I wanted to visit their store, and I wasn't disappointed. Stories quickly jumped to the top of my favorite stores list, they have some seriously amazing stuff. I would totally recommending checking it out if you're in a city where they have it!

I visited Stories around the same time H&M came out with their beauty collection, and I really wanted to do a comparison of their stuff to see what I liked more. I have to say both brands really impressed me with their beauty products and I really, really want to try some more out!

Let's start with H&M beauty.

H&M recently relaunched their beauty line, which is now finally available in Slovenia as well. I am really, really impressed by their stuff. I got two lipsticks from them, and they're wonderfully creamy and the colors are very unique.

I also got a blusher, which gets a B- from me. Color is lovely, but the packaging - despite being cute - feels a bit cheap, and I wish it had a mirror.

The bodycare line is stunning though, and I fell in love with this Cashmere Haze body scrub, which is just stunning! And gentle too, if you don't like harsh body scrubs.

As far as hair products go, I'm not overly impressed with the spray I have, but maybe I'll change my mind? So far, all it has done is make my hair sticky.

Prices vary, it's around 10€ for a product.

Now moving on to & Other Stories...

I really wish I had spent more in Stories, everything I got is absolutely stunning. Let's start with the nail polish which gets a B from me. Lovely formula, good brush and they have an amazing color selection, but I absolutely hate the fact that you have to rip off the paper when you use it. Shame!

The skincare is interesting, I got a mask to use at nighttime and it's a nice product, but nothing revolutionary.

However, the hand lotion and hand wash are just lovely, with super unique scents which I just love. I really wish I'd gotten a candle too. I would totally recommend this.

In general, Stories is more expensive than H&M, so prices vary from 10-20€.

And the verdict?

I found it really hard to choose a winner here, I think both brands have amazing beauty lines! However, & Other Stories is better for skin/body/hair care, it feels more luxurious and I think it would make for a beautiful gift. The products are beautiful, have fantastic scents and are an affordable luxury. Stories takes the cake, but H&M's line is stunning as well! It's just a matter of personal preference.

You can check out Stories online, though they unfortunately don't ship to Slovenia (we need to do something about that).
Have you tried H&M beauty? What do you think of it?

Blogmas Day 4: Three Budget Body Scrubs Worth Every Penny

Don't you just love a drugstore gem?

Like every girl, I like treating myself with an expensive product every now and then. But when I find an inexpensive product like these three, I'm just as thrilled, if not more!

Today I put together a guide on three budget body scrubs which feel (and look) really luxurious. I hope you like this post, I'm always looking for a drugstore treat. Let's see which products I chose.

Oriflame Milk & Honey Sugar Scrub

I've mentioned this product before and told you how much I love it. It really is great! Smells like honey mixed with sweet milk, and feels amazing on my skin. The packaging gets an A+ from me as well, I love that it's in a tube and I love the gold, makes it look really luxurious. Available here for 6€, currently on offer, so grab it while you can!

Garnier Oil Beauty Scrub

This is the first body scrub from the drugstore I tried. I adore this line by Garnier and this product didn't disappoint. It's quite harsh, and I love the scent so much, it's a mix of sugary rose and something stronger, maybe some kind of oil. Available here for around 6€.

Afrodita 100% SPA Sugar Scrub

This is a Slovenian brand, and I love their 100% SPA line. It includes this glorious scrub which smells absolutely divine (sugar, vanilla and something stronger, almost perfumed). It's not that harsh, as the granules melt on your skin. It costs € on the Afrodita website.

Hope you enjoyed this post! I love all three products and would really recommend them if you want to get rid of that dull, old skin.
What is your favorite body scrub?

Blogmas Day 3: Delarom Orangia Bellissima

Are you ready for something sweet and fresh?

I don't know about you, but I don't care if perfumes are meant for a certain time of the year. I just wear what I like year round, and this scent by Delarom is definitely one of those I love in any season. I received it a while ago but am only now getting to the review (boo, bad Živa), but that means I've tested it out a lot and can give my full opinion.

Upon application, Orangia Bellissima is a sharp citrus scent. Let it evolve on your skin though, and it becomes a soft, fresh and sweet scent you will fall in love with. It has top notes of three different citruses, of which grapefruit and amalfi lemon are most prominent to me. The middle notes are white florals - jasmine, orange flower and a bit of rose. And finally we have the sweet base notes with caramel, vanilla and benzoin.

The bottle is a beautiful gradient from clear to orange, so pretty. It looks minimalistic yet luxe on my shelf. I believe Delarom changed the bottle a little while ago, and I love the new design more.

This scent has average sillage and longevity, maybe a little weak for EDP (but we all know my skin drinks up perfume). It would be a lovely holiday gift! Delarom is also cruelty free. And I love their other scents as well... I have a few on my wishlist!

You can purchase this scent on Oblak, currently on offer - 38€ for 50 ml. I would recommend it for sure.

Blogmas Day 2: Christmas 2015 Gift Guide For Him

Stuck on what to get your boyfriend for Christmas?

I was a little lost as well, but I finally managed to gather some ideas for Christmas presents. Don't get me started on my dad, though, because I've no idea what to get him! But here are some presents I thought would be perfect for your boyfriend. Let's see what we have...

A sexy scent

My boyfriend suddenly has a huge collection of cologne, all gifts from me. But this is the first one he found by himself and told me he really wanted it. So naturally, I had to get it for him. I love the womens version of Gucci Guilty, but the mens is even better! This is an EDT with aromatic citrus notes. Quite fresh and pleasant, and I'm sure most men would love the scent. Available here for around 42€.

The perfect book

I read a lot, and every so often I come across a book I know my boyfriend would love. This happened with Brian Sanderson's Reckoners series. This is urban fantasy with superheroes... But they're very, very bad :) I love it, and I'm currently reading book two in the series. I know my boyfriend would love them as well. Available here from 8€ up.

A way to tune out

Last year, I got Tilen a pair of headphones. I think this is a really great gift and I know a lot of guys would like it too. My dad and I tested out loads of them and I'm really pleased with these which cost about 80€. Make sure to test them out!

Plan for the year ahead

I'm a huge planner myself and I know my boyfriend wants to start some to-do lists as well. I found it quite hard to find nice planners for guys, but I came across this beautiful stationery by quotelife as well as VBS. They're made in Slovenia as well, which is a really nice touch! The to-do list planner was 10€ and the diary was 18€.

Take a break

I know mugs are such a cliche gift, but I found another option. I love takeaway mugs, and Tilen has been using mine (pink, with French bulldogs on it...) for months now, so I got him his own. This one is gorgeous, and costs about 19€. I also love this mug for around 9€ and I think it's just perfect (could also be bought in a pair with Mrs).

There we go, a bit different but still useful, I hope. These are some budget presents I know my boyfriend would adore. If you have a bit more money to spend, I would really recommend a pair of winter shoes or a coat, maybe a nice leather wallet... Or if you want to go all out, get him a PS4. Trust me.
What are you getting your boyfriend for Christmas?

Blogmas Day 1: Drogerie Markt & LUSH Haul

Hello lovely people! Are you ready for December?

It's finally here and we're getting in the Christmas spirit. I decided to post daily here on my little blog as a way of celebrating this festive time of the year, and here is my first post, a beauty haul!

I had a meeting and I was a little early, so I headed to drogerie markt and Lush while I was waiting. I just couldn't resist picking up some goodies. I knew I wanted to check out the Merry Berry collection (and I'll have a full review and swatches up soon), the rest of my purchases were total impulse buys. Let's see what I got at Lush first.

This has a scent I thought I would hate, as it has pepper and patchouli, two notes I don't really love. However, I fell in love with it! Amazing, spicy, wintery fragrance which will work great in the shower. Plus, look at that fun color. Think this is from the Halloween collection, so better get to Lush fast if you want it! I paid 9€ for 100g of product.

Rose Jam Shower Gel

Oh my god, if you like sweet rose scents (like Stella McCartney perfume), you must smell this! I fell in love with this sugary rose scent which is part of the Lush Christmas collection. To me, it's much more unique and better than Snow Fairy. Again, 9€ for 100g.

Avocado Co-Wash

I posted a Lush haul a while ago, and during that visit, I saw two products I am still thinking about today. One is this gorgeous shower cream with yuzu and chocolate (which I will buy later as it's from the permanent collection), and the other is this shampoo. You wouldn't think it does, but it smells AMAZING. I want to eat/bathe in it. It's a shampoo and conditioner in one with avocado, cocoa butter and lavender. Paid about 20€ for around 130g.

Let's move on to my drogerie markt haul. For those of you who don't know, dm is a drugstore here in Slovenia and they have tons of European brands I love, like Balea, Essence and Catrice!

Essence Merry Berry Collection

So Živa, what did you get from this collection? Oh um, only everything. It was so inexpensive and so pretty I couldn't resist, okay! Look at those gorgeous nail polishes! The highlighter! The hair fragrance! I NEED! I'll post a full review with swatches soon. This is the Essence Christmas 2015 collection.

Catrice Eyeshadow Palette & Golden Powder

I've been pleased with Catrice eyeshadows, so I picked up this one on a whim. It's very neutral, and while I didn't need it desperately, it's a nice thing to have in my collection. It also has a big mirror on the lid, and it only cost about 8€. The powder seems to be like a highlighter, and was fairly inexpensive - around 3-4€ I think.

Balea Cool Blossom Shower Gel

Of course I can never resist Balea, and this shower gel is a yummy winter citrus, so unique, fruity but warm. Can't wait to use it, and you really can't beat the price of these, they're about 1€.

Balea Micellar Water

I saw Tatjana got this, so I had to jump on the bandwagon! I love micellar waters and I don't think I'll ever use anything else to remove makeup. Excited to see how this one performs for me, it was fairly cheap as well (I'm guessing 3€).

Hope you enjoyed this fun haul, it definitely put me in a Christmas mood!

Artistry Hydra-V Cleanser & Gel Review

Are you ready for some light winter hydration?

Having combination to oily skin, I find it quite hard to find a winter moisturizer that isn't too heavy. It seems like every product meant for winter is heavy and just too overwhelming for my skin type. So I was really excited to try the Artistry Hydra-V range, which is specifically meant for oily to combination skin (but they also have a line for dry to normal skin).

Hydra-V Fresh Foaming Cleanser

I love cleansing my face with a product like this one. It doesn't foam up too much, it's very gentle and what I love most, it doesn't irritate my eyes. Instead, it's really fresh, leaves my skin feeling soft and subtle, and feels gentle on my skin. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price, as Artistry is quite an expensive brand, but this cleanser is priced reasonably at about 23€ on the Artistry website.

Hydra-V Refreshing Gel

I love skincare targeted to oily/combination skin, but they often include a mattifying effect, which I'm not a huge fan of. I much prefer something like this light hydrating gel. Again, very gentle, non-irritating, fresh and soothing, a product that would work, in my opinion, for problematic skin as well. I really enjoy using it both in the morning as well as nighttime, and I've noticed my skin is less oily throughout the day and when I wake up. This really helps keep my oily skin at bay and doesn't make my skin feel tight or uncomfortable. It's a bit more expensive at about 41€ - maybe something to wish for under your Christmas tree? Available here.

If you're looking for a nice moisturizer that will work any time of the year, I'd definitely recommend the gel, and the cleanser is lovely (even for use on my eyes, and I wear contacts). Thumbs up from me.
As a side note, I'm thinking about doing Blogmas. Would you like to see a new post every day in December?

Zimsko razvajanje z L'Occitane

For a change, a post in Slovenian :) Stay tuned for more English posts coming your way soon <3

Zimsko razvajanje?

V zimskem času obožujem vonj ognja v kaminu, dišeče svečke in razvajanje vseh svojih čutov.

Moje roke pozimi postanejo zelo suhe, verjetno zaradi kombinacije ogrevanja in mrazu. Zanje bo letos poskrbela krema L'Occitane Pamplemousse-Rhubarbe z vonjem grevike in rabarbare.

Oriflame My Naked Truth EDT

Sometimes you find a real beauty gem, and when it's inexpensive as well, you really have the whole package!

I was sent a few fragrances by Oriflame, and I wanted to kick off the reviews with my favorite out of the bunch. This is My Naked Truth, a beautiful perfume I've been wearing for the past few weeks.

Let's start with the bottle, which is gorgeous. It's unique yet classic with its rectangular design and oval shapes. I love the simplicity, and it looks gorgeous on my vanity as well. The pink and clear bottle is perfect for this scent.

The perfume itself is soft, fresh and floral. I love it when floral perfumes aren't too heavy, and this one has a freshness I didn't expect. Honestly, I pictured it as a white floral scent, very heavy and similar to Fracas. Nope, nothing like that at all. Instead, My Naked Truth is fresh from the start, with bergamot, litchi and apple blossom. The middle notes have apricot, rose and osmanthus, and the base notes are heavier sandalwood and cedar, rounded out with cotton flower. It has average sillage and longevity, which is OK for an EDT.

I love that this perfume is so unique, and it smells really expensive in my opinion. Definitely worth buying! Available on the Oriflame website for only 20€ for 50 ml! Grab it while it's on offer.

Paco Rabbane Olympea Gift Set

What a beauty!

I was so excited to receive this beautiful gift set from Fragrance Direct! I had a tester of Olympea and my boyfriend went gaga for it, so I knew it would eventually end up in my collection. Thank you to FD for sending it my way, I couldn't love it more than I do! <3 And now let's get into the review of this perfume...

Paco Rabanne Olympea EDP

This beautiful fragrance opens with fresh, citrus notes as well as jasmine and zesty ginger. It moves into vanilla and salt, which give the perfume that beautiful, rounded base and make it smell sweet and gourmand. Finally, it settles into base notes of sandalwood, cashmere wood and ambergris, which add a depth to the scent. It's a sweet vanilla white floral, not very unique, but not generic either.

A perfect perfume for a gift, because I'm sure everyone will love it. I'd also like to add it's a total compliment getter, I never get compliments on my fragrance but everyone loved this one! Especially guys :) And the lotion that comes in this beautiful gift set is the perfect way to make the fragrance last longer, as by itself, it has average sillage and longevity.

I'm sure any girl or woman would be thrilled to find this set under the Christmas tree, I know I would be! Definitely recommend as a holiday present - for you and your boyfriend, because he'll surely love it as well. Available on Fragrance Direct from 48€, this gift set in particular is 66,40€ and you get 50 ml of perfume.
