Let me tell you a little somethin' somethin'. Only a week ago, yours truly had about 45 perfumes on her shelf. 45! Do you even ... I can't! I have no excuses, nothing. But I did finally decide to have a clean up of my collection. I've accumulated so many perfumes I don't even like, and I finally 'minimized' my collection. I now have around 20 perfumes, 15 of which are almost empty anyway, so there. That's good/better, right?

You're probably sitting there rolling your eyes, because here I am with yet another perfume. In my defense, this is a scent I absolutely love and feel like it really belongs on my shelf. I actually partnered up with Fragrance Direct, which I am incredibly happy about. It is a site I have used myself countless times before and I am just thrilled about our collaboration. It's a discounted perfume website and I cannot recommend it enough - you are getting an amazing deal and the scents are from amazing brands, anything you can imagine. I have gotten Burberry Brit, Lolita Lempicka, SJP Lovely and so many more scents from them, all by myself, at the best prices. So I got to pick out one perfume and an extra, and I picked Dolce for myself, and something for my mom, which we will talk about soon - I got her to agree to do a review with me!

Now finally, Dolce. This is a new fragrance release from Dolce & Gabbana and it was love at first sniff. It came out in 2014 and is the most gorgeous perfume for spring. A mix of florals and musk, it smells intense and gentle at the same time, enveloping you in petals of water lillies, neroli, narcissus and papaya flower. What is interesting about this perfume is the fact that is is very gentle, but somehow manages to be prominent at the same time. It is a really well crafted scent that is a bit powdery, but mostly beautifully floral on my skin. I also like the gentle addition of musk, which I am not usually a fan of, except with white florals like gardenia and tuberose, but in this perfume, it just works. Everything wraps up nicely and is just perfect for these spring days.

I hope I haven't rambled on too much! Have you given Dolce a sniff yet or ordered from Fragrance Direct before?
