L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution

Today I'll be reviewing this L'oreal Micellar Solution. Let me start off with a bit of history when it comes to micellar solutions ... I have tried quite a few (and will publish a comparision post soon), and I really did not like Bioderma - it was really rough on my eyes and they itched and stung like crazy. While this L'Oreal fellow isn't as praised, I was actually very pleased with it! Seems like I'm always the one with the opinion that is contrary to popular belief, eh? :)

So, this guy (I don't know why I keep thinking it's a male, I mean it *is* pink. Then again, why am I talking about a makeup remover as if it has a gender? I'll just shut up). So it looks like regular water, just like any other micellar and I really don't think it has a scent which I appreciate. Sometimes it's nice using a product that is really inoffensive on your face. As far as makeup removing goes, I actually think it does a pretty good job - I use two cotton pads, one for my eyes and one for my face, and that's enough. It really removes a lot, even though I like to follow up with a face wash to make my skin as clean as possible. Another thing - it really doesn't irritate my eyes, which are apparently very sensitive - I didn't even know I had sensitive eyes until I tried some of these micellars and they burned really badly. Actually, what more could you want from a micellar solution? Inoffensive, non-irritating, gentle and great at removing makeup. It's also really inexpensive, half the price of others!

You can get this at most drugstores for the price of around 6€.

P.S. Felt like I needed to write about a L'Oreal product after I gave a bad review to one of their shampoos yesterday as I genuinely love the brand.

L'Oréal Paris Hair Expertise EverRiche Nourishing & Taming Shampoo and Conditioner

Sometimes you just come accross a product that you want to love SO badly, but it just ain't happening. This happened to me when I bought this shampoo & conditioner duo by L'Oreal. I usually love their shampoos, and I decided to try their more expensive range after hearing essiebutton gush about them in a video on her Youtube channel. I paid around 16€ for these two together, got them in Müller, and as far as I know, that's the only store that carries them here in Slovenia. But you can also get them on FeelUnique for a bit cheaper here.

These two products did absolutely nothing for me - they claim they're nourishing & taming and neither of those proved to be true. I have super dry hair on my ends, while my scalp is very oily, and I hoped this would counteract at least one of these two conditions. Nope, no such luck. My hair was extremely dry after using this with frizz all over (and my hair is naturally stick straight, so frizz is usually not a problem). Also, it got greasy the same freakin' day. And to top it all off, as you can see in the above photo, my bottle broke almost immediately upon purchasing it, which means I now have a leak all over my bag since I traveled with this bad boy. Lovely. :) Definitely would NOT recommend this duo, L'Oreal has way better shampoos and they're cheaper as well. I have heard that the shampoo works amazingly for other people though, and I truly don't know why it didn't do anything for me. I am actually at a point where I want to throw it away, and I *always* use up products, but this just has a terrible effect on my hair.

I hate being so negative, but I wanted to be honest because this isn't inexpensive and I know a lot of you were interested in a review. It might work just fine on your hair though - if you really want to try it, I say go for it! My hair is just pretty bad at the moment, and that might be the reason this didn't work.

The 'Stuff I ACTUALLY need' Wishlist

Now, I am definitely one for making wishlists, but then it always seems to happen that I don't buy anything I mention in them. So today I decided to make one for things I truly, really need and will quite possibly buy in the near future. I desperately need a new foundation as I've run out of my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, so I'm eyein the Rimmel Wake Me Up, which I know a lot of bloggers love. Also cannot resist the call of the beautiful YSL Youth Liberator - just look at the perfection that is the bottle. It's crazy expensive, so it might end up on my Christmas wishlist. To set the foundation, I would really love to try the oh-so-famous Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, which seems lovely and can be found at a great price. Lastly, I will also be needing a new shampoo quite soon, and I'm eyeing these two products as mentioned by Essie in one of her videos - the L'Oreal Ever Riche shampoo & conditioner. Must. Have. Now.

P.S. Sincere apologies for not having a new video/blog post up in ages, they will be coming soon! I've just been away from home and didn't really have a chance to film. Expect a new one tomorrow or on Monday. :)
